Finding time to paint furniture has been impossible recently! Here and there I've been repurposing an adorable dinette set. Nothing too fancy. Just Annie Sloan's Old White, 3 coats of clear wax and a touch of dark wax in the distressed areas.
Here's a before shot
This set belonged to my boyfriend's parents and was actually their first dining set as a young married couple. With no use for this table, I was given the go ahead to paint and sell. I must say, it's a little bitter sweet....

I Love the table, it is so adorable.....The new paint job did wonders for it!
Oh so beautiful, I HAVE to paint my table!!!
Its so amazing what that paint can do! I don't know WHY I am hesitating painting my dining room set! Ugh!
You did a really nice job ... I have a dining set I want to paint and have been thinking of making my own chalk paint. How different is it to use and is the appearance different? I'd love your advice. I'll be back, L
That is so cute--looks adorable! Great job.
She looks really good after her makeover!!!

Hi Elyse, great job, I'm always impressed with a table and chair makeover. I'll be featuring this post tomorrow on VIF, thanks so much for linking up to the party!
You've restored her life. Boyfrieds parents were very kind to let you have it. If I were you, I wouldn't sale it, I'd keep it and use it myself. Beautiful! Good Job!

Darling! I sure love this sweet little set and I am such an Annie Sloan enthusiast! Chalk paint makes everything beautiful! I know how much work it is to brush paint chairs though...and I admire you for taking on the challenge! I just finished a set with 4 chairs and I think it will be a while before I tackle another! Lots of work!
Thanks for sharing!
Best Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda
I'm visiting from Kathleen's Faded Charm.
What an amazing job you did with your pieces and what a difference.
I'm always fascinated by the way some talented people like you can really bring old furniture to a new life.
Bravo!
