Welcome back to Splish Splash Blog Bash, hosted by Tattered and Inked. Today's theme is Summer DIY, so I thought I would share with you a set of furniture that I recently revamped.
Here is a picture of the original spray stain:
To freshen up this furniture, I wiped down all 3 pieces with a damp rag, painted them with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and used clear wax as a protective top coat. I chose Paris Grey and Old White. For distressing, I used a fine grit sanding block.
And guess what? They are both for sale! Nothing wrong with a little summer cash!
Hop on over to the blogs below. They have great DIY projects going on!

I must say, you do some awesome furniture redos! You're an inspiration to me as I'm pretty new to furniture redos. :)

Elyse, I so love how the hutch turned out. The colors are gorgeous. I finally went to a store with ASCP. I love so many of the colors. I decided not to buy anything until I can save more pennies for the dark wax and the clear wax too. You sell your pieces for such reasonable prices too! ~ Jamie
Wow that looks so great! Pretty colour :)

You are amazing girl! Such talent! WOW! It is a gorgeous set....purdy purdy!!
I love the grey!! I agree with Laurie -- I'd buy it if we lived closer too! My whole kitchen is grey and white. Great job chica!! xoxo
Awesome! I love how you combined the two pieces! I need to scavenge for some good, sturdy furniture (people keep giving us junky dressers with drawers that do not work well).
These pieces would have been totally overlooked by so many. Beautiful job!
I'm stopping by from Miss Mustard Seeds Furniture Feature Fridays.
You have done a fabulous recycle of this desk. You've given it new life!
