Have any old picture frames sitting around??
You can easily turn them into serving trays!
All I did was paint and distress this Goodwill frame, add handles to the side
and a piece of wrapping paper under the glass.
This will be so easy to change out for holidays, a different look,
or even with real photos.
To ensure that the bottom will not scratch any surfaces,
add rubber feet or felt.

What a great idea! From one North Carolinian to another :-) I love that you can change it up.

This seems as good idea of utilizing the old frames. It may be useful for many people but not for me as I have a better option. What I do with my old picture frames is recycle them and use them to make some innovative picture frame designs. There are many other things that can be done with old frames such as use a frame as a mirror, a calendar etc.
Hi there
That sounds a very good idea and I do have a couple of picture frames tucked away. I'm just thinking this just very well could be my first project of this type. As you exlain it it sounds o easy however what about the glass shifting because they often do in picture frames. Did you seal it to the frame with glue or anything else?
kep well
Amanda :-)
How did you attach the handles?
