Home Decor Ideas for 2013

For many months, my husband and I have been busy updating our home.
We've painted, installed granite, stained floors, extended the hardwoods, painted cabinets, tiled a back splash and much, much more!
Our to-do list is still long but I am ready to take a breather and work on decor!!

2013 Home Decor Ideas

Update the dining room chandelier.
Maybe paint it? Add crystals? Install something else?

Cut out the top square of the pantry door and install wire.
Repaint the door to look old and distressed. Paris Grey?
Add a crystal door knob.

Create a picture wall in the stairwell from the first to second floor.

Or create one going up to the third floor.
Maybe both?

Repaint around the fireplace or get ambitious and tile it.

Paint the downstairs bathroom a light grey color.
Replace light fixture.

Create a headboard out of old white shutters for the master bedroom.
Make or purchase curtains.
Print Paris pictures for wall art.

Paint our front door a funky yellow-gold color.
I think it will look great with the blue-grey paint.

Maybe a shade like this one...

I have many more decor ideas in mind. Just too many to share!
I will give you updates as I tackle this list.

Happy New Year!!!

Your house looks fantastic, but I cant wait to see the afters once youve put your stamp on it. That black walled bathroom is kind of sexy though :)

The exterior style of your home is really nice. Your home looks lovely but I am sure you will enjoy knocking off some of your projects.

Your house is so adorable that I can barely stand it. I'm now following along in my reader, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll do this year!
